Giron Debarred Over Investigator Misconduct

Federal Register notice: FDA is issuing an order permanently debarring Angela Maria Giron from providing services in any capacity to a person that has an approved or pending drug product application. FDA bases the debarment on a finding that Giron was convicted of a felony for conduct relating to the development or approval, including the process for development or approval, of a drug product. Giron had been a clinical investigator at AMB Research Center in Miami, FL, where she created false and fraudulent study records.
