# Gottlieb Selects 2 More for his Leadership Team

FDA commissioner **Scott Gottlieb** has appointed CDRH deputy Center director for policy **Lauren Silvis** as his chief of staff. She had been serving as acting chief of staff since April. Prior to joining FDA in 2015, she was a partner at Sidley Austin. She previously practiced at Covington & Burling.

  
In a separate move, Sidley Austin partner **Rebecca Wood** has been appointed chief counsel. She had been at Sidley since 2000 and has worked on healthcare-related issues during much of her career. **Liz Dickinson**, who has served as chief counsel since 2011, will remain in the office in a demoted capacity as senior deputy.
