# Greenleaf Health Brings on 2 Former FDA Officials

Regulatory consulting firm Greenleaf Health has brought on two former senior FDA officials — former Office of Regional Operations director [**David Elder**](http://www.greenleafhealth.com/team/david-elder/?ref=fdaweb.com) and former CDRH associate director for regulations and policy [**Kate Cook**](http://www.greenleafhealth.com/team/kate-cook/?ref=fdaweb.com). At Greenleaf, Elder joins the firm’s Product Quality, Manufacturing & Compliance group, where he will provide “strategic guidance and support to pharmaceutical and medical technology companies in areas including: strengthening corporate quality systems, developing compliance strategies, ensuring inspection readiness and assisting industry clients and legal counsel in developing and communicating corrective action plans and performing due diligence activities,” the firm says. Cook joins the firm’s Drug & Biological Products group, where she will provide strategic consulting services.

Greenleaf is loaded with ex-FDA talent, including former FDA chief of staff **Patrick Ronan**, former counselor to the commissioner and principal deputy commissioner **John Taylor**, former CDRH director **Daniel Schultz**, former associate commissioner for regulatory affairs **Michael Chappell**, and former CDRH 510(k) staff director **Heather Rosecrans**, among others ([see staff listing](http://www.greenleafhealth.com/team/?ref=fdaweb.com)).
