Guide on ANDA Meeting Requests

FDA has posted a final guidance entitled “Product-Specific Guidance (PSG) Meetings Between FDA and ANDA Applicants Under GDUFA.” The document provides recommendations on meetings between FDA and a prospective applicant preparing to submit or has already submitted an ANDA. It includes information about requesting and conducting PSG meetings with FDA (i.e., pre- and post-submission PSG teleconferences and meetings. Additionally, it offers procedures that are intended to promote well-managed PSG meetings and help ensure that such meetings are scheduled and conducted in accordance with the time frames outlined in the user fee commitment letter.
