Guide on Clinical Trials With Decentralized Elements

Federal Register notice: FDA is making available a final guidance entitled “Conducting Clinical Trials With Decentralized Elements” that provides recommendations on trial-related activities that can occur remotely at locations convenient for trial participants (e.g., telehealth visits with investigators or visits with local healthcare providers). The document also addresses the appropriate oversight of trials with decentralized elements, the integrity of trial data, and the safety of trial participants, including sponsor and investigator responsibilities.
