Guide on Device UDI Compliance Dates

Federal Register notice: FDA has made available a guidance entitled “Unique Device Identification: Policy Regarding Compliance Dates for Class 1 and Unclassified Devices and Certain Devices Requiring Direct Marking; Immediately in Effect Guidance for Industry and Food and Drug Administration Staff.” The document describes FDA’s intention with respect to the enforcement of unique device identification requirements for such devices. The agency says it does not intend to enforce standard date formatting, labeling, and data submission requirements for these devices before 9/24/2022. To view the notice, click here.
