Guide on Drug Supply Chain Security

Federal Register notice: FDA is making available a final guidance entitled “Waivers, Exceptions, and Exemptions from the Requirements of Section 582 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.” The document describes the process an authorized trading partner or other stakeholder should use to request a waiver, exception, or exemption from the agency requirements for drug suppliers. The Drug Supply Chain Security Act and Section 582 outline requirements related to product tracing, verification, product identification, and authorized trading partners.
