HeartVista MRI Software Cleared for Siemens Scanner

FDA has cleared a HeartVista 510(k) to provide its artificial intelligence-assisted One Click MRI acquisition software on Siemens Healthineers MRI scanners. The company says the software includes scan accuracy enhancements, real-time automated analysis of regional wall motion as part of a cardiac function assessment, registration of perfusion images for visual defect detection, and enhanced cardiomyopathy and myocarditis analyses. It also “leverages a novel neural network that helps detect artifacts on scans and alerts physicians when the image quality is below the acceptable threshold,” it says.
