# IceCure Medical Cleared for Cryoablation Tech

FDA has cleared an IceCure Medical 510(k) for its Cryoablation Technology and its use to destroy benign and cancerous tumors by freezing them. The device is cleared for treating tumors of the kidney, liver, ear, nose throat and certain neurology areas. Additionally, the clearance also covers the company’s new MultiSense system, which will allow treatment with three needles in unison. Not only does this help to reduce the length of procedures, it will also improve the treatment of multiple tumors as well as larger masses, the company says.
