IND Good Review Practice MAPP

CDER has issued a Manual of Policies and Procedures (MAPP) on good review management principles and practices for effective IND development and review. The MAPP is to assist Center review staff on good review management principles and practices for submissions during the IND phase of drug development, promote excellence in review science, and provide a consistent approach to the conduct and content of the IND review process. The document says the Center’s policy is that review staff and managers will adhere to and consistently achieve the review management principles and practices detailed in an attachment to the MAPP as resources permit.
