# Indian Drug Companies Sharing Compliance Info

Indian drug companies are holding monthly meetings to share FDA-483s that have been received after inspections and their responses to the inspection observations to improve compliance. Bloomberg’s *BQ Prime* [reports](https://www.bqprime.com/business/drugmakers-to-exchange-information-to-reduce-adverse-fda-inspections?ref=fdaweb.com) that the companies are acting as FDA ramps up inspections in India following a determination that Indian companies have poorer compliance than the global average.

“The most disappointing have been data integrity issues, which have been a part of most of our training workshops,” FDA country director **Sarah McMullen** told *BQ Prime*, adding that the data being presented by the drugmakers should be trustworthy.
