# Indivior Exec Pleads Guilty in Suboxone Film Case

**Timothy Baxter**, the former global medical director of Indivior (formerly Reckitt Benckiser) pleaded guilty in a Virginia federal court to a one-count misdemeanor information charging that he caused introduction into interstate commerce of the misbranded drug Suboxone Film. The company’s former CEO recently entered a guilty plea to a similar charge.

A Justice Department [statement](https://www.justice.gov/usao-wdva/pr/opioid-manufacturer-indivior-s-former-global-medical-director-pleads-guilty-connection?ref=fdaweb.com) says that Baxter admitted that an Indivior employee he supervised sent inaccurate drug safety information to the Massachusetts Medicaid agency in 2012.
