*Federal Register* notice: FDA is seeking comments on an information collection extension entitled “Reclassification Petitions for Medical Devices — 21 CFR Part 860, Subpart C.” The collection supports agency regulations that allow device reclassification petitions to be submitted and require FDA to review these and make a final determination. FDA’s decision on a reclassification request is based primarily upon the information contained in the petition.
