*Federal Register* notice: FDA has submitted to OMB an information collection revision entitled Electronic Records; Electronic Signatures — 21 CFR Part 11.The collection supports statutory and regulatory authorities that govern criteria for accepting electronic records, electronic signatures, and handwritten signatures executed to electronic records as equivalent to paper records. The regulations were revised so that before an electronic signature can be used a person must submit a letter of nonrepudiation to FDA.
