*Federal Register* notice: FDA is seeking comments on an information collection extension entitled “Prescription Drug Marketing — 21 CFR Part 203 (OMB Control Number 0910-0435).” The collection supports FDA regulations related to the Prescription Drug Marketing Act of 1987 (PDMA) and the Prescription Drug Amendments of 1992\. The PDMA was enacted to address insufficient safeguards that existed over the drug distribution system to prevent the introduction and retail sale of substandard, ineffective, and counterfeit drugs.
