# Innoveix Pharma Recalls Drugs Over Sterility Concerns

Innoveix Pharmaceuticals has recalled all sterile compounded drug products due to sterility assurance concerns. Affected products are injectable human chorionic gonadotropin and injectable sermorelin with growth hormone-releasing peptide-2, according to a [recall notice](https://www.fda.gov/safety/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts/innoveix-pharmaceuticals-inc-issues-voluntary-recall-all-sterile-compounded-drug-products-due-lack?utm%5Fcampaign=Untitled%20Email&utm%5Fmedium=email&utm%5Fsource=Eloqua). Administering a drug product that is not sterile could result in serious infections, which may be life-threatening, it says. To date, Innoveix has not received any adverse event reports related to the recall.
