An FDA-required preapproval inspection delay due to Covid-19 has pushed back Sol-Gel Technologies’ NDA review for Epsolay (benzoyl peroxide) 5% topical cream for treating rosacea inflammatory lesions of rosacea in adults. Sol-Gel says it recently reached agreement with the agency on the final labeling content. The user fee goal date was 4/26, according to the company, adding that it is following up with FDA to schedule an inspection.
