Invega Not Withdrawn Due to Safety/Efficacy

Federal Register notice: FDA has determined that Janssen Pharmaceuticals’ Invega (paliperidone) extended-release tablet, 1.5 mg, was not withdrawn from sale due to safety or effectiveness reasons. The determination will allow FDA to continue to approve ANDAs that referenced the product as long as they meet relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Paliperidone is indicated for treating schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder. To view the notice, click here.
