Invictus Sterilization Air Purifier Cleared

FDA has cleared an Invictus Sterilization 510(k) for the Aura Storm ultraviolet medical air purifier. The free standing device uses ultraviolet light and a multi-stage filtration system to inactivate bacteria and viruses (e.g., coronavirus, monkeypox, and hospital-acquired infections) in hospitals and other medical facilities, according to the company. “The FDA clearance was contingent on an extensive amount of testing conducted at accredited independent third-party testing facilities,” it says.
