Johnson & Johnson says it is mobilizing resources at its Janssen unit to launch a multi-pronged response to the coronavirus outbreak. It [says](https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/johnson--johnson-launches-multi-pronged-response-to-coronavirus-global-public-health-threat-300995266.html?ref=fdaweb.com) it has initiated efforts to develop a vaccine candidate against coronavirus and to broadly collaborate with others to screen a library of antiviral therapies. “Identifying compounds with antiviral activity against \[coronavirus\] may contribute to providing immediate relief to the current outbreak,” the company says.
