Jonca Bull Leaves FDA Again for PPD Consulting

FDA Office of Minority Health director Jonca Bull has left FDA to join Pharmaceutical Product Development in a dual role as head of regulatory consulting and as vice president of ophthalmology within global product development. Prior to her FDA post, Bull (XXX DELETE XX)served as vice president for U.S. drug regulatory affairs at Novartis and as Genentech’s Clinical Regulatory Policy director. Before her industry stint, she spent 12 years at the agency as Office of Women’s Health acting director, Office of Drug Evaluation V director and Office of Surveillance and Epidemiology deputy director.

Bull received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University, and her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine. She did her postgraduate training at George Washington University, is board certified in ophthalmology, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
