PYRLess Group, Amarillo, TX (2/25): FDA has reviewed the firm’s Web sites (https://drfitt.com and https://drfittinfo.com) and various social media sites and determined its dietary products are considered unapproved new drugs because they are intended to mitigate, prevent, treat, diagnose, or cure Covid-19. The letter said that claims on the sites establish the intended use of the products and misleadingly represent them as safe and effective for treating or preventing Covid-19. It also said that an online advisory letter was issued 11/2018 about claims about the products’ use for treating Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, and influenza.
