Becton Dickinson Franklin Lakes, NJ (9/14): FDA in August inspected the firm’s Franklin, WI manufacturing facility, which makes pre-filled heparin lock flush syringes and pre-filled 0.9% sodium chloride lock flush syringes, and cited it for GMP deficiencies. For example, the firm failed to adequately establish procedures to control environmental conditions. Additionally, it failed to adequately establish and maintain procedures to identify valid statistical techniques required for establishing, controlling, and verifying the acceptability of process capability and product characteristics.
