Auro Pharmacies La Habra, CA (9/24): FDA inspected the outsourcing facility in June and cited it over serious deficiencies in its practices for producing sterile drug products. For example, the firm compounded drug products using bulk drug substances that are not eligible for exemptions provided by FDA regulations. The inspection also cited the firm for producing drug products intended to be sterile in ISO-5 hoods that were not tested and certified under dynamic conditions.
