R-Garden, Redmond, WA (2/5): FDA inspected the company 8/2019 and cited serious GMP violations for its dietary supplements. For example, R-Garden failed to establish and follow written procedures for the responsibilities of the quality control operations, including written procedures for conducting a material review and making a disposition decision. The company also failed to establish specifications for dietary supplement labels. Additionally, an agency review of product labels/labeling found company claims that make products unapproved new drugs because they are intended for use in the cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease.
