Latest FDA Warning Letters
FDA has posted its latest batch of Warning Letters. They can be accessed by clicking on the link following each letter.
Casmara Cosmetics, S.A. Valencia, Spain (2/12): FDA inspected the firm 5/2017 and cited significant GMP violations for finished pharmaceuticals. For example, the firm failed to have, for each batch of drug product, appropriate laboratory determinations of satisfactory conformance to final specifications for the drug product. The firm also failed to conduct at least one test to verify the identity of each component of a drug product. And it failed to establish the reliability of a component supplier’s analysis.

Pacific Hospital Supply Co. Miaoli, Taiwan (5/26/2017): FDA inspected the firm 2/2017 and cited GMP violations for disposable medical supplies, including catheters, cannulae, tubing, and aspirators. For example, the firm failed to ensure that when the results of a process cannot be fully verified by subsequent inspection and test that the process shall be validated with a high degree of assurance and approved according to established procedures. It also failed to establish and maintain process control procedures that describe any process controls necessary to ensure conformance to specifications.
