# Latest FDA Warning Letters

FDA has posted its latest batch of Warning Letters. They can be accessed by clicking on the link following each letter.

**Evelyn Lopez-Brignoni**, Palmetto, FL (3/2) FDA inspected the physician’s medical practice in June 2020 and cited objectionable conditions in its conduct of two clinical trials. For example, the practice “did not adhere to the applicable statutory requirements and FDA regulations governing the conduct of clinical investigations.” Lopez-Brignoni also failed to ensure that the investigation was conducted according to the investigational plan. **Cannafyl**, Scottsdale, AZ (3/1): FDA recently reviewed the company’s Web site and social media pages and determined that it takes orders for various human and animal products containing cannabidiol. The agency says the products being sold for humans are intended to mitigate, prevent, treat, diagnose, or cure Covid-19, and thus are legally considered unapproved new drugs. The letter also says the firm’s animal product is legally an unapproved new animal drug that is unsafe and adulterated. Although the human products are marketed as dietary supplements, FDA says, they cannot be dietary supplements because they don’t meet the legal definition for such products.
