# Laura Loomer Urges Ouster of CBER Head Prasad

**Laura Loomer**, a far-right influencer and conspiracy theorist, has it out for CBER director **Vinay Prasad**. Loomer, who often has president Trump’s ear and influenced the ouster of a number of “disloyal” Trump officials and aides, now has her sights on Prasad, who she says should be removed from his post before he inflicts further damage to the Make America Healthy Again agenda.

In a [7/20 post](https://loomered.com/2025/07/20/meet-vinay-prasad-the-progressive-leftist-saboteur-undermining-president-trumps-fda/?ref=fdaweb.com) on her *loomered.com* site, Loomer criticized Prasad’s lifelong progressive ideology and his past anti-Trump stance. She cites Prasad’s advocacy for liberal policies like single-payer healthcare, student loan forgiveness, open borders, wealth taxes, and affirmative action. Regarding anti-Trump rhetoric, she accused him of calling Trump “orange man” and “perhaps the worst president in the history of the Republic.” She says Prasad has criticized Trump’s immigration policies, mocked election fraud claims, and praised **Anthony Fauci**, whom Trump and his allies have repeatedly criticized.

Additionally, Loomer alleged that under Prasad’s leadership, FDA has reportedly missed multiple user fee deadlines and delayed approvals of gene and cell therapies without transparent justification. She argues that these actions contradict Trump’s mission to accelerate drug approvals and eliminate bureaucratic delays.

Loomer blamed the administration — especially HHS secretary **Robert F. Kennedy Jr.** — for a “catastrophic vetting failure,” citing Prasad’s political donations, public statements, and affiliations as red flags that should have disqualified him.
