# Lilly’s Olumiant Approved for Covid-19

Olumiant is the first immunomodulatory treatment for Covid-19 to receive FDA approval, according to an [agency release](https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/drugsatfda%5Fdocs/label/2022/207924s006lbl.pdf?ref=fdaweb.com).

In 7/2021, the EUA was revised to authorize Olumiant as a standalone treatment. “Olumiant remains under EUA status for hospitalized pediatric patients two to less than 18 years of age requiring supplemental oxygen, non-invasive or invasive mechanical ventilation, or ECMO,” the agency says.
