# Lupin Recalls 4 Quinapril Lots

Lupin Pharmaceuticals recalled 12/21/22 four lots of Quinapril 20 mg (one lot) and 40 mg (three lots) tablets due to the potential presence of N-Nitroso-Quinapril impurity. FDA published the company [announcement](https://www.fda.gov/safety/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts/lupin-pharmaceuticals-inc-issues-voluntary-nationwide-recall-four-lots-quinapril-tablets-due?ref=fdaweb.com#recall-announcement) that said that to date the company has received no reports of illness that appeared to be related to the issue.

The company said it discontinued marketing Quinapril tablets in 9/2022.
