Malin Appoints von Eschenbach as Chief Medical Adviser

Malin Corp. has appointed former FDA commissioner Andrew von Eschenbach as the company’s chief medical advisor. Previously, he served as an advisory partner to Malin. Von Eschenbach currently wears many hats — serving as president of Samaritan Health Initiatives Inc. and an adjunct professor at Houston’s University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer center. He is also a board member of the Prostate Cancer Foundation and a senior fellow at the Milken Institute, a non-profit think tank.

In his new role at Malin, von Eschenbach will work with the management team and therapeutic assets staff, “with an initial focus on oncology and immuno-oncology related companies, including Poseida and Immunocore,” the company says.
