# Mayer Brown Adds 2 FDA Practice Attorneys From Sheppard Mullin

Former Sheppard, Mullin life sciences and FDA practice attorneys **Scott Liebman** and **Dominick DiSabatino** have joined Mayer Brown as partners in its Life Sciences practice. “They specialize in FDA rules and regulations and further strengthen Mayer Brown's capabilities advising pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, healthcare, and digital health companies on complex regulatory, transactional, compliance, and enforcement matters,” the [firm says](https://www.mayerbrown.com/en/news/2026/10/mayer-brown-expands-life-sciences-capabilities-with-fda-partners-scott-liebman-and-dominick-disabatino?ref=fdaweb.com).

Liebman joins Mayer Brown as co-leader of the firm's life sciences practice and leader of its FDA Regulatory and Enforcement practice. “He brings decades of experience advising life sciences companies on FDA regulatory matters, compliance, enforcement, product development, investigations, transactions, M&A, in/out licensing, and other strategic business initiatives,” Mayer Brown says. 

DiSabatino advises life sciences companies on a broad range of matters, including complex FDA regulatory issues, R&D and commercial strategy and contracting, product launch readiness, internal and governmental investigations, corporate transactions, and enterprise-level healthcare compliance programs, according to the firm.
