# Moderna to Seek RSV Vaccine OK

Moderna says it will seek regulatory approval in the first half of this year for its MRNA-1345, an investigational respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine for older adults that met its primary endpoints in a Phase 3 trial. MRNA-1345 is described as a single mRNA sequence encoding for a stabilized prefusion F glycoprotein. Moderna says it uses the same lipid nanoparticles as in the company’s Covid-19 vaccines. It says it also has a pediatric RSV trial underway.
