# Mylan Recalls 1 Daptomycin Lot

Mylan has recalled one lot of daptomycin for injection, 500 mg/vial, due to particulate matter found in one single-dose vial. The antibacterial is indicated for treating complicated skin and skin structure infections and *staphylococcus aureus* bloodstream infections (bacteremia) in adult patients.
