# NDA to BLA List Updated

FDA has posted an updated list of approved NDAs for biological products that will be deemed to be BLAs as of 3/23/20\. An online [notice](http://s2027422842.t.en25.com/e/es?s=2027422842&e=256982&elqTrackId=376c7bc788024cd5a73d955f2e3dcbdc&elq=1bcfd6c5354848509e5210242c89730a&elqaid=9600&elqat=1&ref=fdaweb.com) says that to “enhance transparency and facilitate planning for the 3/23/20 transition date, FDA posted a preliminary list of approved applications for biological products under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act that are listed in FDA’s *Approved Drug Products with Therapeutic Equivalence Evaluations* (the *Orange Book*) and that will be affected by this statutory transition provision.”

The agency says it seeks comment on the preliminary [list](https://www.fda.gov/media/119229/download?utm%5Fcampaign=SBIA%3A%20Update%20to%20the%20Preliminary%20List%20of%20Approved%20NDAs%20for%20Biological&utm%5Fmedium=email&utm%5Fsource=Eloqua) and also said the list will be updated periodically before the transition date. The updated preliminary list is current through 8/31, it says.
