# Neffy Broadcast Ad ‘False or Misleading’: OPDP

The CDER Office of Prescription Drug Promotion (OPDP) says a TV ad for ARS Pharmaceutical’s Neffy (epinephrine nasal spray) is false and misleading. A 1/23 [Untitled Letter](https://www.fda.gov/media/190753/download?attachment&ref=fdaweb.com) says the agency is concerned that it raised similar issues in a 9/9/2025 Untitled Letter and asked the company to address the violations. “OPDP is concerned that ARS appears to be promoting Neffy using similar claims and representations in a misleading manner,” the letter says.

OPDP raises concerns about representations in the ad indicating that patients will be able to completely avoid using any injectable treatments for emergency treatment of allergic reactions. It is also concerned about claims suggesting that Neffy alone can provide assurance that a patient with a history of life-threatening allergic reactions does not need to worry or take precautionary measures to avoid exposure to allergens.

ARS was told to respond with a list of all Neffy promotional communications that contain the same or similar claims and a plan for discontinuing such communications or ceasing distribution of Neffy.
