# NeuroOne Medical Brain Electrodes Cleared

FDA has cleared a NeuroOne Medical Technologies 510(k) for its Evo sEEG Electrode technology for temporary (less than 24 hours) use for recording, monitoring, and stimulation of electrical signals at the subsurface level of the brain. The electrodes are an alternative to cortical electrodes, which require removal of the top portion of the patient’s skull, according to the company. The high-definition thin film electrodes are intended to provide improved signal clarity and reduced noise, and better tactile feedback during insertion into brain tissue, it says.
