# Ngo Debarred for Five Years

*Federal Register* notice: FDA is denying **Belen G. Ngo**’s request for a hearing and is issuing an order debarring her for five years from providing services in any capacity to a person that has an approved or pending drug product application. FDA bases this order on a finding that Ngo was convicted of a misdemeanor under federal law for conduct relating to the development or approval of a drug product or otherwise relating to the regulation of a drug product. On 9/6/2011, she pled guilty to a misdemeanor violation for failing to maintain records stemming from her actions as a clinical research coordinator for the Norfolk Diagnostic Center, doing business as Sentara Medical Group (Sentara). During that time, Ngo was working on an Eli Lilly clinical study to investigate the effectiveness of lispro insulin in order to seek FDA approval to market the product.
