Novavax says it has requested a meeting with FDA as it moves to file for approval of its Covid-19 protein-based vaccine with the agency by the end of the year. *Yahoo! Money* [reports](https://money.yahoo.com/novavax-asks-for-fda-meeting-after-first-global-authorization-for-covid-19-vaccine-ceo-191036628.html?ref=fdaweb.com) the company has received authorization in Indonesia and says it could receive up to five authorizations in the next six to eight weeks globally.

Novavax says its two-dose vaccine showed 90% efficacy against earlier strains of SARS-CoV-2.
