FDA says its review of the Nutritional Supplements Corp. Web site determined that the company markets and takes order for three products — Vitadone, Diabrex, and Viadevita — that are considered unapproved and misbranded new drugs. The agency says the company is responsible for investigating and determining the causes of the violations and for preventing their recurrence or the occurrence of other violations. The firm was told to respond with a list of specific steps it has taken to correct the violations, with the documentation for each step and a schedule for completing the work.
