Oncology Panel Review AstraZeneca, Merck

Federal Register notice: FDA has announced a 12/17 Oncologic Drugs Advisory Committee meeting. During the morning session, the committee will discuss an AstraZeneca supplemental NDA for Lynparza (olaparib) tablets, indicated for maintenance treatment of adult patients with deleterious or suspected deleterious gBRCAm metastatic adenocarcinoma of the pancreas whose disease has not progressed on first-line platinum-based chemotherapy. During the afternoon session, they will discuss a Merck supplemental BLA for Keytruda (pembrolizumab) for injection, indicated for treating patients with bacillus Calmette-Gue ́rin-unresponsive, high-risk, non-muscle invasive bladder cancer with carcinoma in-situ with or without papillary tumors who are ineligible for or have elected not to undergo cystectomy.
