Oncology Panel to Discuss Polivy sBLA for Lymphoma

Federal Register notice: FDA has announced a 3/9 Oncologic Drugs Advisory Committee meeting to discuss a supplemental BLA for Polivy (polatuzumab vedotin-piiq) for injection. The submission proposes an indication for combination use with a rituximab product, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, and prednisone for treating adult patients with previously untreated diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Polivy was granted accelerated approval in 2019 for use in combination with bendamustine and a rituximab product for treating adult patients with relapsed or refractory DLBCL, not otherwise specified, after at least two prior therapies. The new submission is based on data from a confirmatory study, POLARIX (Study GO39942), that was required as part of the 2019 accelerated approval. To view the notice, click here.
