OTC Panel to Discuss Food Handler Antiseptics

Federal Register notice: FDA has announced a 3/11 Nonprescription Drugs Advisory Committee meeting. Panel members will review information submitted to the agency in response to an FDA request entitled “Food Handler Antiseptic Drug Products for Over-the-Counter Human Use; Request for Data and Information.” The information reviewed will focus on the current use of over-the-counter antiseptics in the food handler setting and the recommended testing criteria to establish the safety and effectiveness of such products.
