Panel Reviewing Ipsen NDA Postponed

FDA says it is postponing a 10/31 Endocrinologic and Metabolic Drugs Advisory Committee meeting that was scheduled to review and vote on an Ipsen Biopharmaceuticals NDA for palovarotene capsules, indicated for preventing heterotopic ossification in adults and children with fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (see earlier announcement). The meeting is being postponed to allow time for FDA to review new information, an agency notice says, adding that a rescheduled meeting date will be published in the Federal Register.
