Panel members are scheduled to discuss a GlaxoSmithKline supplemental BLA for mepolizumab for injection and its use as as add-on treatment for inhaled corticosteroid-based maintenance treatment to reduce exacerbations in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease that is guided by blood eosinophil counts.
