Panel to Review Imfinzi sBLA in Lung Cancer

Federal Register notice: FDA is announcing a 7/25 Oncologic Drugs Advisory Committee meeting to discuss an AstraZeneca supplemental BLA for Imfinzi (durvalumab) injection. The company is seeking an indication for combination use with chemotherapy as neoadjuvant treatment, followed by Imfinzi as monotherapy after surgery, for treating adult patients with resectable non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Panel members will also be asked to discuss whether drug sponsors should be required to adequately justify treatment of patients both before and after surgery for resectable NSCLC prior to an approval that would include both neoadjuvant and adjuvant therapy.
