Percutaneous Nerve Stimulator for Substance Disorder in Class 2

Federal Register notice: FDA has classified the percutaneous nerve stimulator for substance use disorders into Class 2 (special controls). The action is in response to a 3/2017 de novo request from Innovative Health Solutions for its NSS–2 Bridge device. It has identified the product as a device that stimulates nerves percutaneously to aid in reducing withdrawal symptoms associated with substance use disorders. To view the notice, click here.
