FDA has approved a Perrigo ANDA for a generic copy of GlaxoSmithKline’s Zovirax Cream, 5% (acyclovir cream), indicated as an antiviral treatment for cold sores. Annual sales for acyclovir cream is about $92 million, according to Perrigo.
