PharmaTech Recalls All Liquid Products

FDA says that PharmaTech has expanded its 7/16 recall to include all liquid products due to possible Burkholderia cepacia contamination. The products were manufactured in the firm’s Davie, FL, facility, the agency says, and were distributed and labeled by six firms. The initial recall announcement covered all non-expired lots of Diocto Liquid, a docusate sodium solution distributed by Rugby Laboratories. FDA says it has received adverse event reports related to oral liquid docusate sodium, but not for any of the additional recalled products.
