Pneumonia Drug Development Guidances

FDA has published two guidances to address drug development programs for community-acquired bacterial pneumonia and hospital-acquired bacterial pneumonia and ventilator-associated bacterial pneumonia.

The documents do not discuss the general issues of statistical analysis or clinical trial design that are addressed in other guidances.

The guidances’ contents are Introduction, Background, Development Program (general considerations, specific efficacy trial considerations, and other considerations), References, and Appendix.
